your relationships are works of art. Collaborate wisely.
This is a series of 45-minute long trainings designed for artists and creative professionals, but it’s also a great fit for anyone who want to find creativity in communication in your home or work life and relationships of all kinds.
The classes are:
Creative Decision Making: Bringing consent with yourself into your art practice
We will go over the Yes-to-No Spectrum and how decision-making impacts your creative process
Nonverbals: make the unconscious conscious
We’ll learn about our bodies’ cues of our emotional state and what that can tell us about the work we’re making, as well as how our art tells us what it needs
Discipline vs Punishment - commitment as a relationship with past versions of you
We’ll talk about building structure without reprimanding, follow through, gauging your capacity, and how and when to ultimately back out if need be
Boundaries for Artists and Myths to Bust (no, you’re not going to “get discovered”)
What are the myths that hold you back? What are you waiting for? What do you have control over?
What do you notice that no one else notices? - show and tell
Practice talking about your art and sharing it with others. You’ll get feedback about the themes that repeat in your work so you can begin to understand your voice from the outside.
$50 each or $200 for all.
Recordings will be sold after.

Hi, I’m Mia Schachter. I’m an author, multi-media artist, intimacy coordinator for TV, film, and theater, and Tinder’s Resident Consent Educator. It’s my mission to make consent education as digestible and widely available as possible so you can identify your desires, needs, and boundaries and authentically express them to others in your own unique voice.
My background as a writer—plays, music, prose, personal essay, books—is deeply informed by my work as a consent educator. We will use consent-based principles to gently work through creative blocks. We will use tools and exercises from my Unblocked course/method, which tackles perfectionism, people pleasing, inner critic, and imposter syndrome in your art.
You can read my writing here.
About me…
“My approach is to zoom in, so we can slow down and begin to make the unconscious conscious.”
